Tim May's Profile
Born and raised in Genoa City, Wisconsin, and now proudly calling Elkhorn home, I’ve built both my life and my career right here in Southeast Wisconsin.
I’ve held my Broker’s license for 48 years, bringing decades of knowledge and perspective to every transaction. While I’ve practiced real estate part-time for the past seven years, my experience spans nearly five decades of understanding the market, contracts, and the ever-changing real estate landscape.
One of my greatest passions in real estate comes from my foreclosure days — I love seeing distressed or abused properties brought back to life. There’s something incredibly rewarding about watching a home be restored and renewed. Just as meaningful is seeing the pride on a buyer’s face when the paperwork is signed and the keys are handed over. Purchasing property is one of the biggest investments most people will ever make, and I’m grateful to guide people through that journey — especially first-time homebuyers experiencing that milestone for the very first time.
I truly enjoy helping buyers feel confident and informed throughout the process. For many first-time buyers, the process can feel overwhelming, but with the right guidance it becomes an exciting and empowering step toward building stability and long-term wealth through homeownership.
Family is at the center of everything I do. My wife, Denise, and I have been married for 28 years. We have three grown children — Nolan (26), Olivia (25), and Tatum (22). We’re also blessed with one grandson, Colter, who is 1½ years old and already keeping us busy. Our home wouldn’t be complete without our Catahoula Leopard dog, Piper.
I’m a spiritual person and believe every day is a gift from God. His creation — including the land and homes we care for — was meant for us to steward, enjoy, and prosper from. That belief shapes how I approach both life and business. I genuinely enjoy helping individuals, families, first-time buyers, and investors find opportunities that allow them to build stability, pride, and prosperity through real estate.
